The Gerber file format is the actual standard format for printed circuit board (PCB) design data transmission, and is known as the backbone of the electronics manufacturing industry. All PCB design software can output Gerber files, and all PCB manufacturing software can also process them, enabling PCB professionals to exchange PCB design data safely and effectively.
SECOND- upload aperture list
The aperture list contains a description of the shape and size of the tools used to create pads and tracks.
Thirth- upload drilling file
Excellon drilling files are used to drive CNC drilling and milling machine tools in PCB manufacturing.
Fourth- Drawings
· Board size and tolerance
· Reference point
· Finish the board thickness/multi-layer stacking method
· The size of the hole
Fifth- drill file in gerber or excellon format
• Color / type of solder-mask
• Color of silkscreen
• Plating finish (copper, nickel or gold)
• Dielectrics
• Controlled impedance
• Other special requirements or instructions
